Coast Path Signs

Look out for Coast Path signs - a week to go until the opening of the Wales Coast Path and the drive is on to get the signage in place. I spotted this sign going up above Hell's Mouth. It is made from seasoned oak and should last long enough to see me out!

The emblem is that of a shell with a dragon's tail. The Wales Coast Path is 870 miles long and stretches all the way along the Welsh Coast. It hugs the coast wherever possible. It is due to be opened on Saturday the 5th of May. Walking North Wales will be celebrating by participating in the Big Welsh Walk, a series of events all around the Welsh Coast. We will be walking from the pub car park at the Lion Hotel in Tudweiliog, all the way down the coast to Porth Colmon. Details are below:


Saturday 5th May 10am
9 miles easy walk
The walk follows the coastal path from Tudweiliog to Porth Oer.
Meet at Lion Hotel Car Park.
Buses can be arranged to take people back to the start.
