Wild Garlic

Peter was out and about over the bank holiday, and came across this magnificent bank of wild garlic, also known as Ransoms, or Allium Ursinum to give it its botanical name, which it earned because brown bears (Ursus Arctos) find it very attractive.

As beautiful as the flowers are to look at, the smell is an acquired taste to say the least. The leaves of wild garlic can be used similarly to common garlic for flavouring dishes, and as a green vegetable in their own right. It seems to prefer warm conditions though, so it's not so common in North Wales. Do you know of anywhere nearby where it grows as well as this?
