One blessing of a wet winter

Regular readers of this blog (and every inhabitant of the British Isles) will know that it has been a very wet and cold winter. Every cloud has a silver lining however, and one of the benefits of the inclement weather is that the reservoirs are full, and there is no danger of the water rationing which was widely discussed only a year ago during the dry spring of 2012. I took this photograph of Llyn Celyn this week. The reservoir was full to the brim and this should mean that there will be plenty of water to feed the Afon Treweryn and its associated white water rafting attraction.
