Calling Indiana Jones to the Chainbridge Llangollen!

This suspension bridge across the River Dee dates from 1817. Although it has been rebuilt twice since then, the original chains are still in use-making them the oldest suspension chains in the world. It used to be a handy place to get across the river to the Canal which runs broadly parallel to the river, but is best avoided now! Denbighshire County Council assures me that it is to be restored soon.
